About Us
After 15 years of operation as a standard RV park, Lake Oklawaha has been a favorite destination for thousands of people and their families and friends. After great demand, it was decided to allow RVers to purchase their own lots at the park and in doing so, take advantage of all that the facility has to offer. The changes at the Park are many, much to the delight of those who have visited lately.
Located on a bluff overlooking the 13,000-acre Lake Oklawaha (also known as the Rodman Reservoir), the park is surrounded by the 400,000-acre Ocala National Forest. The park has taken the best nature has to offer and enhanced it with the amenities and conveniences desired by today's RVers.
We have 3,700 feet of privately owned water frontage on magnificent Lake Oklawaha!
We couldn't make the natural surroundings any better than Mother Nature had done, but we did provide upgrades and additions to the Park that will make your stay more enjoyable and your lot purchase more valuable.
We've trimmed the excess branches and foliage of many of the picturesque oak and hickory trees overlooking beautiful Lake Oklawaha so you can appreciate the view better and enjoy the dazzling sunsets. We've paved the roads to make driving, walking, jogging and biking so much easier and to keep the dust down.
There are a lot of subtle changes that you may not notice at first, but here's a list of ones you will:
- Completed a "make-over" of the 6,000 square feet recreation hall to include a wraparound, screened-in porch, beautifully remodeled bathrooms with showers, and a fully-functional kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, stove and tiled floor.
- Upgraded and remodeled the laundry room.
- Upgraded and remodeled the shower facilities.

Now You Can Own Your Own RV Lot
"Affordability" is the operative word when speaking about the pricing of the lots at Lake Oklawaha RV Park in Ft. McCoy, Florida. Starting in the low 30s, you can now own a space to call your own in the pristine Ocala National Forest.
